Explore Norway’s National Tourist Routes in Berlin’s Felleshus Exhibition This Fall

Architecture and Landscape in Norway, a photography exhibition by Ken Schluchtmann, will open this fall in the Felleshus of the Nordic Embassies in Berlin. Featuring architecture, landscapes and roads in northern light, the exhibition situates Ken Schluchtmann in a long tradition of landscape representation in Norway. Opening on October 5, 2018, the show is part of the “European Month of Photography.” The exhibition will displays images taken along the National Tourist Routes in Norway.

House of Courtyards / BLOCO Arquitetos

The House of Courtyards is located in almost flat ground, inside a lot without pre-existent vegetation. Its main openings are directed towards the north, from where it is possible to see parts of the Brasília’s city center. The orientation of the facades demanded the use of indented windows that create short eaves for solar protection.

Municipal Toy Library of Dólar / Carquero Arquitectura

We project the municipal playroom of Dólar (Granada) with a low budget (450 €/m2), subsidized with funds of agrarian employment for unemployed people. The plot is located in the south perimeter of this town of Guadix’s region, with a form of arch that is opened to the rural landscape in the skirt of Sierra Nevada and that it´s leaned in one property line.
