Created for Kolon Sport, an outdoor brand with sustainability at its core, the concept store is located in a commercial building on the island of Jeju.

The 1970’s were a dark time for New York City. While the economy was down, crime rates were at an all-time high. The negative public image also kept tourists away, driving the city into a financial crisis. To change perceptions about The Big Apple, the New York State Department for Economic Development approached advertising firm Wells Rich Greene to create an inviting marketing operation. After 45 years, the resulting I Love NY campaign remains fresh in the minds of locals and tourists, successfully revamping New York City’s brand. Cities across the world like Paris, Amsterdam and Jerusalem have similarly invested heavily in constructing magnetic brands for themselves.

The project is part of a program proposed in the municipality of Tultepec, the State of Mexico. Developing entity recognized for its work with pyrotechnics since for many years it has been its focus of economic activity at a national and international level. After a thorough study by the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development SEDATU, needs arise within the framework of the PMU Urban Improvement Programs of this entity. Under this approach, the Secretariat in conjunction with the department of urban planners sought to equip areas of interest in this town, thus achieving urban improvement and economic recovery. As part of the request for post-pandemic economic recovery, it was proposed that throughout the construction of the projects, labor, and manual labor be encouraged to generate sources of work.

World’s Cities Day 2022: Act Local to Go Global
