This solitary figure functions as a signal and as a viewpoint of the landscape (both interior and exterior). With a vertical sequence of rooms, it was built to overlook the Andes Mountain Range, hidden behind the native forest.

Sector 02 Irrigation Module Offices / 3ME Arquitectura

Located in the Lerma River basin in the Salvatierra region of Guanajuato, historically, it has fostered the settlement of agricultural producers and thus, the conflict over water control in different periods: pre-Hispanic, viceregal, and Porfiriato. Having a record of the current use of pre-Columbian irrigation channels. Finally, the National Water Commission (CNA) decentralizes irrigation systems, which are handed over for operation to peasant organizations; such is the case of the Association of Agricultural Producers of the Irrigation Module in Salvatierra.

Salatino House / Sommet

The Salatino house is located in a gated community in the municipality of Porongo, in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The design of the house is characterized by its orientation towards the surrounding golf course, which functions as an integrated component of the outdoor space. This design responds to the idea of establishing a visual spatial continuity with the field, turning it into an organic extension of the private garden of the house.

The office project is located in the Poblenou neighborhood within the district of Sant Martí. The plot on which the project is developed as part of the former yute spinning factory complex of the Godó brothers, popularly known as “El Cànem”, which occupied up to three entire blocks of the Eixample and established itself as the center of the working class life of the time. The facade on Doctor Trueta Street is preserved from this industrial legacy, included in the Protection Plan of the Historical and Artistic Architectural Heritage of Barcelona.

When addressing the creation of public spaces, it is crucial to maximize their potential beyond established limits and, in this particular case, focus on generating intersections, concentration, and meaning.

Quinchuyaku House / Emilio López Arquitecto

The Quinchuyaku House is located on one of the eastern slopes of Ilaló (extinct volcano), 15 km from Quito, at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level. With a dry temperate climate, this habitat is part of a gradual replacement project of the existing eucalyptus forest with native flora and fauna.
