This project is a three-entrance house along the street, located at No. 129-131 Cangqian Road, Cangshan District, Fuzhou. The original building was built by Zheng Zeming, the olive king of Fuzhou in the late Guangxu period(1875–1908) of the Qing Dynasty, the first Fuzhou native to develop a variety of olive products, and known as the “Olive Five”. Thus it is also named “The Olive Five House”.

Located at the corner of a narrow alleyway in Garosu-gil, Sinsa-dong, “reworks120” sets itself apart as a premium eyewear shop, aiming to differentiate itself from traditional eyewear shops.  With its long-established presence, it needed a change in brand image and space. Starting from the essence of the brand, we focused on the question of how consumers could fully experience “reworks120” during their extended stays, concentrating on the unique experiences that only offline road shops can provide.

Mutan Project / Morsa Taller + Emilia Pascarelli

The workshop of “Proyecto Mutan” is located in the province of Buenos Aires, in the neighborhood of Villa Martelli, a suburban low-scale tissue that presents a mixture of houses and industrial constructions. They are a group of designers who work with post-consumer recycled plastic which they transform into design objects. The initial program requirements included the incorporation of an exhibition area, a meeting room, and an office space. This was the starting point to rethink the working spaces, always searching for a direct relation with the exterior, and proposing an open system of connections that vary their functions according to the moment and specific needs of the users.
