In the autumn of 2019 in Saint Petersburg the showroom of sanitary ware and tiles AND28 opened a conceptual space of the German bathroom manufacturer Duravit. To present premium and novel products of this brand, architect Evgeny Neimand turned former store-rooms into a bright showroom with unusual details. Is it possible to turn former store-rooms into a stylish showroom? Architect Evgeny Neumand has solved an exceptional problem: Duravit zone in AND28 space stands out due to its precise, finely nuanced geometry and bright accents.

Located in Yuzhong District, an old district of Chongqing, and the core area of a convenient transportation network, Chongqing • VANKE Life Experience Center is only 3-6 kilometers away from the geometric center of the four major commercial circles. Against the composite urban background of rich Bashu culture and industrial civilization, the encompassing and white-space speculative proposition and the complex and minimalist morphological thinking form the tension of heterogeneous conflicts and the paradox of pluralistic opposition.

The new Conran Shop in Gangnam, Seoul is the British lifestyle brand’s first in South Korea. Conran and Partners have evolved the brand experience to create a high-impact lifestyle-led retail environment. The design evokes the atmosphere and drama of a gallery space – rather than that of a conventional store – allowing products to be curated in impactful, eye-catching ways. 

This is the plan for a showroom that also combine as the office of the socks brand “ROTOTO” in Jingumae, Tokyo, based on the concept of “Products loved through lifetime.”

Developed as a prototype, SPSS Modular Box (SBOX) intended to be an openspace for work and showroom for the pieces of furniture produced by SPSS.

Yunshan town complex is located very close to the east entrance of Chongqing Simian Mountain Scenic spot. According to the master planning, the complex will become the starting point of the new tourist resort outside the scenic spot. The west and south sides of the complex are adjacent to mountains, and the north and east sides are the open gentle slopes that fall downward. The complex consists of an art gallery, retail stores, a Wedding Chapel, and resort residential.

UAO has recently completed the phase Ⅱ of Optics Valley innovation world sales department; UAO is responsible for the integrated design of the project’s architecture, landscape and public indoor area. Because of the integrated design, the indoor and outdoor integration of the project is perfect. The project is located in the new development center of Optical Valley in Wuhan. There is already a steel structure sales hall (phase I) in the site. Client’s demand for phase II construction is to make a large box, which can accommodate the actual construction of 1:1 model room.

Since the inception of Hendrick’s Gin 20 years ago, the unusual spirit has been a leader in the gin market. Hendrick’s is well known for its elaborate Victorian-inspired branding and unique rose and cucumber flavor however, until recently, it was lacking a home worthy of its uncompromising commitment to quality and distinctive brand. Michael Laird Architects and the Design Team were commissioned by William Grant and Sons to design a purpose-built distillery. The principle function of the building was to serve as the new iconic home for their eccentric Hendrick’s Gin.

OLD MEETS NEW
The project is adjacent to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and belongs to the core business district of main urban area of Hangzhou. In time and space tunnels, the present is history, and the past is the future. For a piece of land that represents the origin and root of the city, we try to respond with a future-oriented attitude, present new possibilities of future human settlement in the natural city of Hangzhou with light and dynamic anti-gravity architectural vocabulary.
