GQ named their new generation of merchandise ‘SuperHero’. The ‘individual’ apparel category were manufactured with the thought of helping people through various ‘innovations’. Our location is in the Siam area of Bangkok, Thailand. It is on the 2nd floor of the MBK building, an old shopping center that has been opened since the 1970s.
The project is a headquarters of MDC (Thailand), a medical equipment company, to support its business expansion. The design aims to reflect MDC’s character of medical equipment which is neat, clean, creative, and innovative. Thus, all of the building is designed in white combining steel structure, perforated steel sheet, and reinforced concrete. The different masses of the building appear to float at different angles, creating a dynamic space. All the spaces do not only create motivation for the staff but also visually represent a creative unique character of the company.

NATURE┃CULTURE – ROUTE52 CC is located on the highest ridge of Dangsan Mountain in Yeoju, which consists of a broad plain. Our expectations for this blessed place – the perfect location that can be easily found even from a distance offering a distant view and being able to enjoy the vast green and nature together – were unfortunately utterly blown away during the on-site survey when we found dozens of hectares of upended red-brown soil. Instead of mimicking nature sloppily by advocating the idea of ‘architecture that blends in with nature,’ we instead thought paradoxically that we should do the architecture and leave nature to nature and that this would be the most natural thing. In that site, we decided to place the long and wide concrete mass as raw as it is indifferently.
