Centre des financespubliques in Corbeil-Essonnes / Lemoal Lemoal Architectes

Located in the heart of a sparsely populated urban area in the town of Corbeil-Essonnes, the building, constructed in 1971, is positioned in the center of the plot. This “Pailleron-type” structure – owing to its similarities with the modularconstruction process – is composed of metal posts and beams clad in glazed facadepanels, and an exterior steel assembly supporting fixed horizontal sunshades. The straightforward geometry of a rectangular parallelepiped is determined by theprocess of construction. The regular facades are marked by a horizontal grid signalingthe three levels of the building, and a vertical grid formed by the modules of identicalwindow units. The building consists of a basement housing technical areas and a car park, a groundfloor with a public reception desk in an area of the lobby, and related functions(lunchroom, a caretaker’s apartment), offices and archives, and finally another flooralso containing offices and archives.

Mercure Bukhara Old Town Hotel / ARC Architects

The project is situated in the northern part of Bukhara, close to the Samarkand Gates, a significant transport and trade route during the medieval period. In the Soviet era, this area housed industrial enterprises and a bus station. In 2010, the city council decided to relocate all industrial enterprises to the city outskirts to restore the historical urban morphology and promote tourism and handicraft activities. Using aerial photography and archival materials, a master plan for the city block was developed, dividing it into units, one of which was designated for hotels.

Once completed, it is expected to accommodate 15,000 industry and research personnel. line+ interprets and modernizes the cultural wisdom of technology enterprises, creating reconfigured spatial types and rich environments that integrate diverse architectural functions and usage scenarios. This sustainable office environment supports the long-term development of iFLYTEK—serving as a city park open to the public, a vibrant creative campus full of youthful energy, and a spiritual home that fosters a sense of belonging for the employees of iFLYTEK.

CC House is a spacious corner terrace home located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, with a sloping rear garden and a distinctive split-level interior. The renovation retains much of the original structure while thoughtfully adapting it to meet the owner’s new needs. The exterior is simple, featuring a clean white facade and high garden walls that curve around the corner. Above these walls, a matching curved metal facade hints at the design elements found inside.
