Black Framed Glass Wall Bedrooms And Open Plan Living

Striking black frames build the glass wall bedrooms of these four open plan modern apartments. These dominating structures are balanced out with dark accented lounges and sleek kitchen diners, all seated within cool grey base decor. Wooden elements up the visual temperature and build a welcoming ambience. Striking pendant lighting helps to create zoning within the fluid living spaces, dropping anchors over modern furniture pieces. We see how to create connection and cohesivity through the glass wall rooms, so that the linked spaces flow rather than jar. Colour stories are continued through transparent walls, whilst home accessories are cherry picked for perfect matches or subtle contrast.

The glass bedroom really sets the whole scene for our first modern apartment, as it drops a dominating black framed backdrop right behind the sofa. A dark grey living room rug balances out the concrete grey feature wall that can be seen inside the bedroom.

A black and white round coffee table set complements TV wall storage in the same colourway. A slab of white marble luxuriously underlines the glossy white cabinets and jet black bookshelves.

Gold and glowy dining room pendant lights dangle like jewellery over a white marble dining table. Gold framed modern dining chairs complement the special light fittings.

The kitchen wraps the dining set in a wide L-shape formation, which is complemented by the L-shaped sofa on the opposite side of the layout.

Kitchen cabinets morph into hallway storage as they near the apartment’s entry door.

The L-shaped kitchen installation features two dominant lines of rich wooden cabinetry across its base and ceiling line, with a row of light grey wall units paling softly into the background at eye level.

The towering black frame that builds the glass bedroom wall had to be balanced out with dark accents in the lounge. Black drapes, a black floor lamp and black accent furniture achieve equilibrium.

Grey upholstery pads a floor to ceiling headboard feature in a non-glass bedroom scheme, softening the visual and acoustics. The golden light fixtures from dining area become bedroom pendant lights here, dangling in a duo by one side of the modern platform bed.

Built-in bookshelves balance out the dark towering headboard on the opposite side of the room.

A different set of pendant lights have been selected for the glass bedroom decor scheme. This time, a delicate duo of rings halo golf ball bulbs low over a small bedside table. The headboard wall is a cool concrete feature, which is replaced by an attractive wood slat panel behind a succinct vanity area.

In Ha Noi, Vietnam, this grey apartment gains warmth through deep brown accents. A brown leather sofa joins rich wood tone elements to offset the cool base.

Textured glass doors obscure the glass wall bedroom beside the small lounge.

The patterned glass hides the close proximity of the bed behind the panes.

The living room dining room combo employs space saving elements to make the small floor area appear clear and plentiful. The sofa table is attached to the back of the couch, completely clear of the tile floor. A dining bench allows the table to be situated close to the wall.

A grey one wall kitchen complements the concrete elements in the room.

Storage cabinets squeeze into the gap at the foot of the bed.

A small wall sconce provides reading light.

A JWDA table lamp by Menu illuminates the other end of the compact space.

Black elements provide the dominating factor to our third interior, bringing a thick atmosphere of sophistication.

A round coffee table set lightens the centre of the grey and black lounge.

The TV stand is elevated off the floor to promote a look of simple spaciousness in the apartment…

… However, it’s the glass wall bedroom design that really opens up the floor plan.

A modern chandelier adds a sculptural element to the simple decor.

The glass walls retract fully to adjoin the bedroom floor area with the living room.

With glass walls retracted, the bedroom’s home workspace floats neatly behind the sofa.

A modern dining set divides the lounge from a generously sized kitchen.

Low hanging dining pendant lights help establish clear zoning.

Recessed shelving and a suspended ceiling panel draw a black line to further separate the zones.

Our last apartment features a glass wall kid’s bedroom, combined with a home workspace. The moderately sized volume adds extra light to the lounge, where dusky pink coloured accents brighten a black sofa and a dark area rug.

A cream pouf adds extra seating without darkening the window.

Grey slats build attractive TV wall decor, and contrast cooly with a warm wood grain media unit. A unique ceiling fan brings in a richer wood tone. See more modern unique ceiling fans here.

Two small wooden wall shelves are decorated with books and trailing plants to firmly establish the dining spot in the open plan space.

Charming dining room pendant lights add shape and colour interest low over the table.

Geometric floor tiles bring contemporary pattern to a grey and white kitchen design.

Inside the glass wall kid’s bedroom/home workspace, grey, black, white and wood tone decor continues.

Black string lights draw a border between the cute kid’s bed and the functional home workspace, clearly defining the two areas.

The grey master bedroom is uplifted by cheerful yellow accents.

A yellow bell alarm clock and a mini plant make an adorable bedside arrangement.

In this minimalist bedroom design, motivational quotes adorn the headboard wall and a set of matching bedside tables.

White closets contrast gently with misty grey wall paint. Dark grey bed upholstery and a black bedroom rug bring weight to the airy decor.
