K’s Verandah / Hiren Patel Architects + Design

November 20, 2025 Pilar Caballero 0

K’s Veranda, the latest chapter in the story of K’s Charcoal in Ahmedabad, embodies the spirit of Hiren Patel Architects + Design (HPAD) — crafting spaces that breathe, balance, and belong. What once was a lively, open lawn beside the restaurant has blossomed into a soulful retreat. Here, walls seem to melt into the landscape, and the indoors drift effortlessly into the open air. It doesn’t read as an addition, but as a graceful evolution, carrying the familiar warmth and comfort of its predecessor, yet whispering in its own quiet voice.

LuxeIsland Restaurant / DL Atelier

November 3, 2025 Pilar Caballero 0

In early 2023, LUXELAKES planned to launch a new project in Wuhan. Having collaborated on multiple previous projects—such as Dotsss Children’s Museum, Edenland Architectural, and CPI Planning in Chengdu, as well as The CAPE Commercial District and Qilou Historic Street Planning in Hainan—we were already familiar with each other and worked together seamlessly. As a result, we collaborated again to design a restaurant within a children’s playground. During the preliminary planning phase, the restaurant was named “The Brave Cabin,” as it was surrounded by challenging recreational climbing equipment. We hoped the building would inspire children’s courage to overcome difficulties. With an indoor area of less than 200 square meters, the building has a relatively small footprint. Our goal was to create ample semi-outdoor spaces where visitors could relax in the shade. Additionally, thanks to its prominent location at the island’s gateway, the building is visible from a distance to arriving visitors.

Rhythm of the Wood Restaurant / MAS Architects

October 31, 2024 Hana Abdel 0

The restaurant was built in Soc Son as a destination for tourists to rest and feel the surrounding nature. Surrounded by perennial pine forests next to a natural stream, the design requires careful detail so as not to disrupt the existing landscape. The design task is to create an architectural work made from local materials, creating a space close to nature but still being new in architectural language and sustainable. over time. Architect Do Minh Thai (Mas Architects) and his colleagues came up with a solution to use the same trees grown and cared for on that land to create the work “Rhythm of the Wood” to preserve the time stamp on the built location.

Kitsunya / Nastia Mirzoyan

Client Brief and Achievements – The project began after the previous tenant, a nightclub, struggled to survive due to curfews and societal changes brought about by the invasion. The space, once a magnet for young people, had to adapt to a new reality. The clients, collaborating with a chef, sought to bring their dream of opening an Asian bistro to life. With a very limited budget, the team decided to retain existing features such as the bar and invested instead in high-quality furniture. The main challenge was to create a modern, vibrant bistro space without heavy decoration, by blending subtle references to Asian culture with contemporary design trends.

Hans & Werner / van Baal interior design + Tomasz Budnicki

October 16, 2024 Valeria Silva 0

As interior designers, we often create spaces that are complete and self-contained. But this time we have taken a different approach. Our latest design is not just a space, but a canvas for human interaction. Designed by van Baal interior design and Tomasz Budnicki and located on the modernist Siemensdam campus, the Hans und Werner Kantine bridges the gap between the architectural heritage and the contemporary pulse of Berlin’s new office district. The groundfloor of an old factory building has been transformed into a lively restaurant.

Arima’s Warehouses / 1110 Office for Architecture

Warehouses : creation and transformation –  The plot is situated in the garden city of Miyamae in the city of Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. Here, the existing buildings traditional family house and an agricultural warehouse_ are bordering vegetable gardens and agricultural lands, giving a rare impression of an untouched postwar bubble within the ever-developing urban fabric of the greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area. This nostalgic atmosphere and feel is the beginning point as well as the underlying idea of our project.
